Pastor Mike's Corner

I haven’t felt like writing much on my blog in the last few weeks. I’ve been focusing on a new class I’m teaching, sermons, reading, studies, and helping a few other groups raise funds for Weedman Park. We just met with the City tonight and got approval to go ahead with the project. Lord willing we should have the center piece installed by the beginning of summer. My next letter to the editor will be sent to the Journal bringing attention to this project.

I’m also praying about starting a support group for people who have suffered loss. I’ve had considerable training in this area and see a need for it in the community. The course I’m looking at starts at about $600 and I will most likely have to fund this. I’m praying for clear guidance on this.
